It is essential to keep your website updated to keep those visitors (potential customers) coming. Dynamic, Content Management System based websites also need to be regularly updated and backed up (like Windows or Apple MacOS).
Why do I need to update my website?
Can it not just be maintenance free and do it’s thing by itself? It is possible to have a static, maintenance free website, but this kind of website is becoming increasingly rare. Still, if you only need a website to only display static information on the Web (your contact details, as an example), this is the kind of website you want. We will provide you with an individual quote for this kind of a website, as it has to be hand-coded.
Yes, sophisticated and Content Management System (WordPress of Joomla as an example) based websites might be easier to build, therefore cheaper than hand-coded HTML/CSS websites. Modern Content Management Systems offer ready-made building blocks for websites, also it is much easier to keep content up-to-date, as doing this does not require any special programming skills
You can choose doing this yourself, or leave it to us.
We offer three care packages for your website maintenance:
ADHoc (Pay as you go)
This is not really a package, we simply update your website whenever you ask us to do this. There are no contracts or obligations. We will charge £45 an hour (minimum of £30 per support case) for the work we have done. You can always choose to opt-in for the Silver package at any point in time.

Silver Package
This is meant for small websites with quarterly content updates. We will keep an eye on your website’s system updates ensuring it runs smoothly and will always keep a current backup copy in a location different from your website’s server.

This is in case the data centre where your website is hosted will be destroyed by an earthquake or tsunami (very unlikely, but still possible). We will also update your website with materials provided by you. We estimate around 5 hours included for website updates yearly, which makes it around £35 an hour, which is a reasonable discount compared to AdHoc care. There is also no minimum support case charge. If it becomes obvious that we are spending considerably more time on content updates, we will recommend you move to the Gold package.

We estimate around 12 hours included for website updates yearly, it makes it around £24 an hour, which is a reasonable discount compared to AdHoc care. There is also no minimum support case charge. If it becomes obvious that we are spending considerably more time on content updates, we will recommend you moving to the Platinum package.
Platinum Package
This is for medium sized and e-commerce websites with weekly updates. We will keep an eye on your website’s system updates ensuring it runs smoothly and will always keep a current backup copy in a location different from your website’s server. We will also update your website and/or shop with materials provided by you. We estimate around 54 hours included for website updates yearly, it makes it around £20 an hour.
